This movie, surprisingly, was actually pretty good! The movie starts off in 1986 where Justin (Jamie Kennedy) is in a breakdancing group, The Funky Fresh Boyz, and they are competing in their school talent show. During a dance-off vs. their rival group, Justin is knocked into a coma while trying to do his 'special move.' He wakes up 20 years later as a 32 year old man with a 13 year old's mentality. The portions of the movie where you are watching him adapt to 2007 are pretty funny. When he mets his old crush from before the coma, Jen (Maria Menounos) he decides to enter a breakdancing competition being run by her current fiance, Kip (Michael Rosenbaum), with the hope that he can steal Jen back from Kip (who had been in the rival group when he was a kid) and use the prize money to help his parents (Christopher McDonald and Debra Jo Rupp) pay off his medical bills. He gets his group back together and seeing them as adults and then watching them all trying to get their movies back is deffinately some good comedy. After your typial lost-hope-sequence, Justin bounces back, the group wins, Justin gets Jen, and you get to watch Kip have an emotional breakdown. One of the funniest parts of the movie is when Justin gets to see/touch Jen's boob (just think of a 13 year old boy seeing a boob and being able to touch it for the first time). Overall, a good comedy, but very Jamie Kennedy-esque. So if you weren't a fan of Malibu's Most Wanted, then I doubt you'll like the comedy in this, but if you did, then check out Kickin It Old Skool!
